Farm Tour Experience (2-3 hours)
- Both a learning and entertaining experience for the young and young at heart.
- A 280 acre working farm that has been in the same family for 95 years.
- A guided tour by the third generation owner, Manager, Gerald Lee, on a hay wagon. Guests will see corn and hay at various stages of growth, harvesting and storage.
- Hayride will take guests 1 mile to the back of the farm, where you can watch cattle graze.
- A farm that is laid out like dairy farms were 50-60 years ago.
- Meet Gerald and Deb Lee, owners who until 2009 milked cows on this farm and see now how they raise baby calves from birth to milking age (2 years).
- When the tour portion of this experience is over, you will enjoy roasted hot dogs over the camp fire with all of the fixings. (Hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, potato chips, s’mores, lemonade, iced tea)
Our goal is to share an evening on our farm with you as our guest. When your time and experience with us is over, you will have a better understanding and appreciation for farm life. Also, we will have learned something about your lifestyle.
Guests are welcome to explore and take photos of the undisturbed 30 acre wetlands and wildlife (deer, wild turkeys, sand hill cranes, swans, ground hogs).
